RoStudio+
April 10th, 2006
My own tool for sprites, made in Visual Basic, it can load spr and output in bmp, gif, and animated gif, last version also supports act loading, but not so much accurately.
It’s no longer developed. Also known as Spr Tool+

Hey there,
I’m the developer of DyeFire, maybe you saw my work somewhere. ’cause I’m already doing things in the dye sector I thought I might as well make/edit some palettes. And I found your rocking piece of software.
And I have some suggestions to make which would make palette editing much more productive. I hope this isn’t asked too much…
-[Bug]Update the view panel when the window gains the focus.
When switching my apps with alt+tab I noticed that the view panel is cleared and I have to press a control button(prev, next, whatever) to see it again.
-[Request]Can you link a mouse click onto a color pixel of the sprite with the palette index? That would make things much easier ’cause you don’t have to search for the color index you want to change.
-[Request]When the preview thing is possible, could you link a double click with the color choose dialog? If possible directly expanded when opened.
Best if this would as a permanent window similar to the palette window.
Position should be left of the main window.
-[Request]Turn off the filename hint when placing the mouse on the view panel.
Maybe you should write the file name(maybe with a relative path) into the window caption
-[Request]New Buttons:
*”Choose palette directory” loads the available number of palettes for that sprite in the chosen directory
*”Palette +/-”(might also be a spinedit) to navigate through the
to switch through all existing palettes in that directory. Directly loads the palette file. If the current palette was changed then it should be asked whether it should be saved before changing.
*”New Palette” to create a new palette file based on the standard palette which is directly loaded. Same question as above.
*”Save Palette”. If the palette is the standard palette then ask where to save
i get a missing file error any know why??
COMDLG32.OCX error pls help me
