Some code bugs corrected, ground editor/generator enabled again with texture/tile improvements.Now in world editor you can categorize your own objects (lights , sounds, effects and models) so you can set your own preferences.
And the most awaited feature… the camera.. with shift + mouse left button you can change the heading, and with shift + mouse right button you can change the camera position

*To Edit tiles you must left pressed the ion with two pieces of square and an arrow crossing them. Add your own tiles, and use it as you were painting.

Time for a new alpha release, I fixed some minor bugs. Now you can categorize models and sounds, you can add your own in xml. Objects are represented with a line ( by now).
If you are interested helping me in xml model info update, you can send me your modified xml, andI’ll put it on the nest release

Just to let you know that I’m alive, i post for you an alpha of what will be Rome II FE, right now I’m implementing the 3D engine, cameras, lights, etc.. , also I’m thinking to redone the ground editor to make it look more like a paint program, so you can chose a tile and paint it onto the ground canvas.
I’m waiting for your critics, let me know your opinions about usability. Right now to change camera use q,w,e,r,t,a,s,d,f … sorry I’m trying to make a more useable camera).
If you don’t see the map qhen it’s loaded press d until you see it.

It’s been a while since last post, I was (and I am) very busy, but i manage to spend a little time to continue developing Rome II. Right now i’m focusing on Rome II FE changing the 2D view to a 3D view, but there’s a lot of work to do, specially if i want to separate data from model view.
I want you to know that Rome II it’s not dead but i prefer to release a working Rome II FE than a buggy one, soon (or late XDD) i’ll post some images.
Hope you don’t give up on me!

Happy new year to everyone, i post this to let people know that some bugs has been corrected, so the page now works normally. Also i’m the look, hope you like it!
One purpose to this year, is to make a mini how-to for Rome II, and if it’s possible make a new release. I let you know when i have time, right now i’m very busy…. but i’ll try to make Rome II a better tool.
Anyway, i’m still waiting for your collaborations on xml for Rome.

New version released, with a few restrictions in ground editor mode. It’s just a release, because , right now i’m busy and time between next release will be long.

Version 1.26 released. This version includes :

And some other minor changes, hope you like it.
I’m still waiting xml colaborations, if anyone has time and like to help, i hve to recollect effects time and loop values, so open a existing map, and get values from effects, so in next version can have default values to begin, witout these values some effects don’t work.
